  the wt lawyer is lying he said it take 4-5 years of study to become a jw? then the wt lawyers says it's ok for the elders not to report sexual abuse. wow this guy is sick . and he's trying to use the law to cover not reporting... this is a must listen... john

  After 4 years, I finally had JWs at my door today!

  yesterday i saw two women walking slowly around the end of our street, waiting on porches of empty homes.

  i told my husband, "look, there are 2 jws.

  we haven't had them come here for 4 years--ever since i mentioned that i had some serious questions (but had never enumerated any points at all).

  bebu; i'm pretty sure on freeminds. there a page that goes over the proclaimers book in heavy detail. you will find enough there to shut any jw down in about 10 minutes. on that book. there is also a very interesting quote from studies in the scriptures maybe vol 4 were russell is calling himself the christ , along with jesus and barbour etc. shotgun do you call the nut house , before or after , you hit them over the head with the proclaimers book. the jw;s must want to know why the padded wagon is stationed ready in front of your house. john

  yes blondie that's the line . it was also in a 2000 or 2001 maybe 2002 wt or awakeIn the early 1920?s, a featured public talk presented by Jehovah?s Witnesses was entitled "Millions Now Living Will Never Die." This may have reflected overoptimism at that time. But today that statement can be made with full confidence.. this is a prophecy. there is no way around it. this is basically saying the world will end in the next 100-120 years at the most. if children born at the time of printing this, there would have to be millions of them still alive. when armageddon happens. it's like saying the world will end by the year 2100. and that's the arguement i used. if you press a jw on this statement , it's very hard for them to get out of it. thank you again . john

  blondie : thats real close. and i also think it was a may mag. but i'm sure it was on the back cover or next to last page. and it said "we can confidently say today million now living will never die." it's very possible the bound vol's and cd have been changed it could be 1999? I'M MORE SURE it's 2000 or 2001. if you can find it ty. if not thanx again. but i'm very sure it's there. i had a few dozen jw's over a barrel on this quote at the time. thank you john

  the court hearing has been moved over one day to tuesday morning, october 19. the protest rally will start at 11:00am.

  i figure the protest will end at about 1:00pm.

  144,000 a literal number

  the questions from readers has affirmed that the 144,000 is a literal number.

  it states that some numbers in revelation are symbolic and others are literal.

  it argues that since the great crowd which is unnumbered is mentioned right after the 144,000, then logically the 144,000 would have to be literal.

  if your talking about the sept 1 2004 wt pg 30 . they are quoting dr robert l. thomas . and dr. thomas totally disagrees with the wt on the 144k. it can be found on johnankerberg.org. under prophecies rev 7... so the wt lies again

  the sad saga of the berry girls (holly brewer and heather berry) and their mother, sarah poisson, is well known to most longtime posters here, having been featured prominently on the jw abuse shows on television, notably at length in the ones in the uk (bbc panorama, "suffer the little children", july 2002) and canada (fifth estate, "spiritual shepherds", january 2003).

  the civil suit they brought against the wts in the new hampshire state courts was referred to.

  that suit was going well in pretrial motions and depositions, etc., until it was dealt a serious and potentially fatal setback by a decision made by the judge in june 2003, which was blaste--er, discussed--in these threads: .
